Homey uses our own in-house contacts managers, alongside our own technology, data, and on-site project management to complete renovations quickly.
Our process is built to reduce time spent on renovations and enable homeowners and estate agents to sell homes, faster and for a better price.

We use technology to allow for virtual tours of the property
If you would like to move forward, we’ll schedule a time for one of our homey representatives to visit your property and capture a high-resolution, 3D video of the property (free of charge) which takes between 60 - 90 minutes dependant on property size. The video allows us to see the home’s details, take measurements and determine costs without numerous site visits from various contractors which take up homeowners time.
Your Contracts Manager will schedule a virtual walkthrough to review the 3D video with you and your estate agent and determine what the project scope is. You can participate in the virtual walkthrough from any computer or mobile device with internet.
You sign our contract electronically.
The homeowner will sign both a declaration of trust and a contract which details the scope of work and the costs involved. We do not charge any interest or fees on our renovation costs*. Once the contract is signed, we’ll start on the renovations within 5-7 business days.
The renovation is managed from beginning to end by your Contracts Manager.
Our renovation process is completely end to end. Our Contracts Manager will handle everything from selecting some of our approved and vetted contractors to submitting planning permissions or permits for skips and waste. They will attend all site meetings and are in charge of the ordering materials ensuring you never need to step foot in another DIY store. You’ll also receive updates through the Homey web app which you can access from any computer, tablet or phone. We even have a live chat service which allows you to chat to your contract manager in real time. We want to get the home on the market quickly (just like you do!), we only get paid once your property sells, so we generally complete our projects within 3-6 weeks.
You’ll list the home after our renovation is complete.
Once the project is complete, we will work with your estate agent to get the property back on the market within 5 days and remain on the market until it sells, unless homeowners choose to pay Homey directly for our work.
We get paid for our work through the proceeds of the sale.
No need to worry about paying Homey directly. Your solicitor will pay us for our renovations through the proceeds of the sale at settlement.
